New Family Welcome

Thank you for your interest in the New Family Welcome Committee! 

The Upper School and Lower School Welcome Chairs work to create meaningful opportunities for new families to feel connected and integrated into the MCDS community. They host gatherings and help coordinate our buddy program to ensure every family feels supported from the start. 

Lower School Volunteer Needs:

• Plan three gatherings over the summer

Upper School Volunteer Needs:
Buddy Program

• June Get Together Event for incoming 6th-grade families

• 6th Grade Student Party, often the day before the first day of school
