New Family Welcome

Thank you for your interest in the New Family Welcome Committee! 

The Upper and Lower School Welcome Chairs work to create meaningful opportunities for new families to feel connected and integrated into the MCDS community. They host gatherings and help coordinate our buddy program to ensure every family feels supported from the start. 

Lower School Volunteer Needs: 

1. Buddy Program: Plan 1 casual gatherings over the summer.

Upper School Volunteer Needs: 

1. Buddy Program: June gathering event for incoming 6th-grade families only.

2. 6th Grade Student Party: Held the day before the first day of school.
