Lunch & Recess Duty Grades K-2

Join us for lunch/recess duty–a delightful way to contribute and connect with students, teachers, and staff. Your help during lunch is essential and a favorite among families. Thank you in advance for your participation!

A few important reminders for new volunteers:

• Please read the Lunch Procedures training document before your first shift.

• Parking: Lower Lot.

• Check-in: At the front gate. First-time visitors, please arrive 10 min early.

• What to bring: Photo ID.

• Where to go after checking-in: 

• • For recess duties, please meet at the Lower School Playground. 

• • For lunch duties, please enter the kitchen by the pizza oven between MP1 and MP2 and check-in with kitchen staff member.

• Cancellation: If you need to cancel, please try to find a substitute from your parent contacts, especially for lunch duty.  It does take a village. If you can not identify a sub, email the Lunch & Recess Duty Volunteer Chair, Emily Davis.
